Well, it looks like it doesn't shield IR! Watch out! I'm weary of anything that doesn't list OD for different color bands. I'm sure the goggles will protect against some laser light but the question is what is the threshold? Thats an important question. (I'm a bit new(b) to the laser hobby...

Yeah, but I'm talking about aiming the thing as well. I don't know how well I could control the direction of a beam that is perpendicular to the plane of my hand, or why I'd want to in the first place. Seems like poor design.

Is it just me or does this seem like a bad way to control a laser this powerful? We're lucky to have thumbs. Why not use em?
