Yes I did. All I have to compare it to is the 50mw greenie from Optotronics. It's definitely brighter and it burned it's way out of black plastic bag the moment I turned it on. I also prefer the design better on the O-like, the push button on the Opto is way to easy to hit accidentally.

*sigh* I gave up waiting for the Luna and canceled my order. We'll see if I get a timely response from WL or if I need to do a charge back.

We have a winner. I got a nice shiny 50mw greenie from optotronics today. It's a perfect night for it here. Hot and hazy, that beam goes on forever. :) Now all I have to do is wait for the safety glasses to arrive so I can use it in the house.

No word from WL on the Lunar I ordered on July 6th. I can't imagine what's keeping them busy... :whistle: Optotronics might be out to an early lead. I received a tracking number from them the day after I ordered. Promising indeed, however 24-hours later the carrier shows the shipper...

Problem solved. In addition to my WL order I also placed orders with O-like.com and optotronics.com I'll see who gets here first. If they happen to all get here about the same time then I have a good start on my Christmas list for this year...

Humm... I've seen several cool videos of lasers shining through fog, I wounder what it would look like to shoot one of these at a fog of florescent gas.

Has anyone received a Lunar yet?

OK, So the S1 Luna is a new beast. Cool. A 200mw, Violet, 1mm laser. For those of us new in town, what does that "200mw" really mean? Fun to play with Fun but use some common sense Fun but use extreme caution Fun but goggles and lead vest required Fun but holy mother of God how is this...

So the "Lunar" is a re-branding of the Extreme? If you look at the "Technical Specs" for the Luna they call it the Extreme. Is the Luna an Extreme for $89 bucks? Oh and it's purple despite the "Blu-Ray" on the side right?
