It might be possible to compile Laserboy with MacPorts. You can try wine or parallels desktop.

But the question is.. what would be safe to use in a room my size? Surely a laser show that outputs a total of 1W isn't recommended in my case.. How high can I go?

Note that if there exists a laser show system with red, green, blue and purple lasers in it that would be safe to use in a room my size, I would go with that. Though I have googled and haven't found a projector with both 405nm and 445nm lasers in it. I really want the pretty purple laser...
