Why is there a need to list which lasers and what output you have, placed with the posts in the laserpointer forum???? Seems alot like 'Mine's bigger than yours'....... or is there a legitimate reason for those posts????

Good idea for information exchange about these incredible instruments.   The first laser I purchased was a Spectra physics,  very large enclosure, and  output was probably 5-10 milliwatts.....I bought it in 1976, kind of pricey for a low output instrument,  but lots of fun. I have 4 green...
