    I'm using the RKCSTR driver. I'm not educated with the difference between linear and the buck/boost yet. It was a kit I put together. As you can tell by my post I'm still learning. Thanks for all the info everyone is giving me.

    What is the way to recheck your driver output after you soldered it to the diode?. I have a PHR-803 I set for 100mv. I'm using 3 10440 600mAh batteries 3.7V each. It doesn't seem strong even when i focus with my 405-G-1 lens. I think my driver got messed up and I want to recheck it without...

    PHR-803T Diode

    Are all PHR-803T diodes the same or is there different outputs depending on the manufacture? Because I hear different stories on the outputs from 70ma - 150ma. I want to know whats best. I'm planing on setting mine at 100ma or is this to weak?:thinking:
