Why does the documentation of the Wicker Arctic S3 say to never remove the IR filter from the laser?
Why is there an IR filter anyway? If the beam is restricted to 445nm with a very narrow peak?
Thanks for all the good feedback, I already asked a replacement glass to Wicked but since they seem too busy to answer me, I think I'll try to find some AR-coated glass to replace it myself.

I am the happy owner of a Spyder Arctic S3.
While cleaning the protective glass of the full-power front sight, I broke it by pressing too hard. :wtf:
What is a simple way to replace it? And what kind of material should I use? How do I make sure I get zero diffraction?
