Well I was planning on cutting down the end of it where the little clip is attached, then just removing the cap from the cut off end and pushing back into the new shortend end of the battery barrel. I really like that idea of just getting a whole new host pen and not destroying my little...

This is by far this best laser upgrade I've seen so far, most of them just beat up on a poor 5mw diode. This is a great idea to just switch out the whole diode! Now my problem is that when I take the cap off the inside parts wont come out, it's like they are glued in and the cap is just pressed...
