    Questions about TEC(Peltier) component

Oh, Okey... I get it now... but wouldn't be better to hav it for example at around 0 Celsius?

    Questions about TEC(Peltier) component

Don't think so in my opinion because I'm feeding the peltier with 1.2 amps and isn't near freeze cold.

    Questions about TEC(Peltier) component

Another quick question, could I use the DDL driver to control my peltier with about 8 amps of imputs? Wouldn't it burn the driver?

    Questions about TEC(Peltier) component

@MISTEREWILLING: As far as I know you can keep a constant temperature by having a constant current, that is using a LM-chipset family circuit, like the one from the lasers.

    Questions about TEC(Peltier) component

Hello, I have the following questions about a TEC Module (Peltier Module), hope you can help me with them: 1) I've read that this modules are current dependent, but I've also read they are somehow voltage dependent, which one is correct? If I want to get more temperature delta between the...

    20x LOC diode

Minimum value: 440mA Maximum recommended value: 600mA This is according my experience based on the use of a TEC as temperature control and using only LG GSA - XXX diodes. Greetings

It's about 400mW, think might be necessary

    IR diodes from DVD burners

I searched some info in the forum, hope did well, but couldn't find any appropriate information for my questions. Was wondering if I want to build a laser with the IR ( or near IR, whatever they are) diodes found on the 20x burning units: *How much power are they capable of outputting? *How...

    Cooling with TEC...

Yeah I've collected a bunch of heatsinked-fan coolers from core 2 duo pcs that we'll be enough =D. But my initial question hasn't been exactly answered, what is more advisable, putting the housing directly over the peltier, or... mounting it inside a small heatsink; then laying the heatsink...

    Cooling with TEC...

What you mean with "thermal runaway due to the increased efficiency at lower temperatures"? Also what else to be aware when lowering the temperature of the diode? Let's say to...-15 Celsius? -> 3 Farenheit Also: lower wavelength which results from the shortening of the laser cavity on the...

I meant pump, not bomb, my English is a little rusty.

    Cooling with TEC...

Hi, just wondering: If I cool with a thermoelectric pump (TEC) my diode housing (Aixiz), what's the best way? Should I put it directly over the cooling surface, or mount the housing in a heatsink, then the heatsink over the cooling surface? Will the cold temperature reached by the peltier...

    DIY Homemade laser diode driver

Quick-side related question, whats the difference of using a 1N4001 Diode against a 1N4004 or a 1N4007 for the dummy-load test?

    Can't make the diode work[help]

The driver it's itself well constructed, even, I did two drivers: one on a protoboard, another with soldering. - @->chipdouglas: I think so, I touch some metallic stuff before touching it every time, like some paint less steel pliers or Aluminium foil. Is that the way to discharge yourself...

    Can't make the diode work[help]

Please, make a complete sentence this lacks sense. Are you asking if I used a test load, or do I know what a test load is for, or some kind of measuring?
