Hey ken, i just talked to my buddy that works at At&t and he said that you will NOT lose the unlimited plan with an upgrade or by just transfering the SIM, id go to your local store and ask for more info, but he says that when he upgrades people with unlimited its an permanant grandfather unless...

I can comfirm that on verizon that trick does work. little more work then just swaping SIM cards, but it does work
