It was bought from a stall at a amateur radio convention in Germany.

I have no idea if it is infrared or not or if it is a bare diode. I was hoping to get some identifying tips here.

Hay dudes. I got given an apparently high power laser diode from my Dad. I can't wait to start messing around with it. (responsibly of course ;)) I have one problem however. The diode has no documentation or model number. I thought I should take some pictures and show them to some laser...
