Been on the website for a week or so learning about lasers - how do you get that effect - how can you beam out OZ6RA - how do you do that - looks well impressive

I can't guess how many cats have been tortured by laser pointers, I bet you could setup a whole website full of movies of animals being hassled by laser pointers - hey , now there's an idea :shhh:

I spent a little pulling apart my dads laser levels, and was trying to determine if it has a Red laser diodes which might be probably the most typical forms of diodes used in the lower end outdoor laser levels or perhaps a 630nm Helium-neon laser I think the wavelength they operate at either...

Is your laser beam brighter and cleaner than if it was cleaned by other leading washing brands :D No really though your lucky, I left mine out overnight in the rain - ruined and had to throw the pointer away

Yea - this can be an expensive hobby - if you don't keep a lid on your spending you can spend a small fortune

I first got my hands on my dad's toolbags and found his laserlevel - It was a cheap one and was well used so he let me play around with it - I took the think apart to check the laser out - got hooked that way

I wish some one would buy me a laser level

I got myself a laser focusing Module with Shutter and Turn Key , had it for 6 months and it works great

I've dropped my laser a few times - luckily nothing broke - would hate to have to pay out for another, just finished paying off my current laser:thinking:

What about a bubble blowing machine - the laser reflections would be unreal

Nice link to the Gaussian Beam Optics Tutorial. Never really understood Gaussian Beam Optics before, the tutorial gave a good insight in to how it all works thx
