Where can I get an aluminum carrying case for my laser? (Details inside)

Watching this video(skip to 1:22), I noticed that the case that laser came in was very very nice, and would fit my laser really well. Does anyone know where I could buy the case and just the case?

Hiya! My Sanwu Spiker just got here. Just have a couple of questions.

Ah hah, another Spiker owner! High five! Anyways, how do you tell the difference between half and full power? Which order are the modes in?

Hiya! My Sanwu Spiker just got here. Just have a couple of questions.

How do I switch between modes? I currently have it locked in safety mode at 10 mw, and I've not been able to get it to do anything but strobe. I also can't get it out of safety mode - half tapping five times does not work as it is purported to. Also, I've noticed the beam is basically a line...

What's a reputable seller I can get rechargable 26650 batteries and a charger?

Would like to have batteries for my laser when it comes. I'm okay with paying a little more than usual if it corresponds to an increase in quality.

Where can I get a line generator lens for a Sanwu Spiker?

I wanna do the "liquid sky" effect. I'm told what I want is a line generator lense which splits the beam into what's roughly a plane. Like this video.

Where can I get a line generator lens for a Sanwu Spiker?

Looking around, I only seem to be finding lenses that are <$10 and don't look like they'll fit, or lenses >$150 for industrial purposes. Can anyone help me out? Sorry if this is the wrong board to post on.

A friend and I want to measure the curvature of the Earth using a laser and a lake.

Thanks Encap for that quick little writeup. In regards to my accuracy, I'm not overly concerned about accuracy. I had a friend who did this same experiment on a 3-mile stretch of water, and he got to within 500 miles of the Earth's true diameter. For that reason I believe that I can do this to a...

A friend and I want to measure the curvature of the Earth using a laser and a lake.

Okay, thanks for the explanation on beam expanders guys! I hope divergence won't be too much of an issue, but if it is, I know what to do now. The nice folks over at reddit don't seem to think this will get me into any trouble, so I'd like some second opinions here and I'll decided whether or...

A friend and I want to measure the curvature of the Earth using a laser and a lake.

Yes, that Sloan's Lake. I'm a little anxious about using a laser there, too, but I don't have many feasible alternatives, though I am looking into alternatives. It's also not that close to downtown, but it is in a populated area. Hence the crapton of safety precautions I'm planning and the post...

A friend and I want to measure the curvature of the Earth using a laser and a lake.

In terms of distance, the two spots will be about 1,5000 meters apart, we're on Sloan's Lake.

A friend and I want to measure the curvature of the Earth using a laser and a lake.

This involves taking the laser out to a lake and shining it across the lake at around 2-3 feet high. 2.5W 445 nm laser. The laser would have a solid backdrop on one end of the lake about 3'x6'. Would this be illegal? I'm in Denver, Colorado, if it matters. The set up would be like so: Friend...
