Rick Trent laser kits 3w 445nm

If you could figure out a way to marry it with a Mag-lite host, I think you would have a winner. I would be in for one...PM me if you decide to go there.

Rick Trent laser kits 3w 445nm

That's a quick burn ! Have you tried the pulse setting to see if the results are the same ? If the pulse does not adversely impact the drivers, I think it is a very nice feature.

Rick Trent laser kits 3w 445nm

Dual cube 445nm's - really sick Got my dual cube 'Borg' today. Nicely packaged and fast shipping. Rick has really done a nice job on this build. The combined beams are metered at 6.2W, so not lacking power. Host has the typical low, med, high, and pulse capability. Not sure if the pulse...

Please add me to list for this when it comes out, or let me know how to get on the list for the 2 9mm set up for the 5+W. Thanks

    FS: TANK007 Complete Build Kit

Trying to follow the posts. Isn't the 18650 a 3.7V source battery. I was interested in the concept of a 2.2W build, but noobishly thought the 18650 might not support it.

FS: Star Trek Phaser 'Hot' Option! Or, Individual Parts...

Hate to see this thread slow down after such an excited exchange of ideas on the potential wavelength possibilities. On the possibility of revitalizing this discussion, and my limited logins ... With discussions on technical upgrades, has there been an updated cost estimate for a 'Hot' option...

Something Useful to do with your Green Laser Pointer

What would be more fun than to develop a laser based analytic tool for vapor analysis of poly-chlorinated compounds, thanks for the information and good luck on its development.

Something Useful to do with your Green Laser Pointer

I work in the environmental consulting world, any type of device that can detect traces of contaminants is a good thing. When you say traces, are you referring to ppb levels or ppm, also, how does it do with poly chorinated compounds like PCE and TCE ? There is a big need for indoor air...

FS: Large Maglite Monster Kits! FlexModP3, Side Button Forward Clicky!

Noob error on my part, yes the dash is from the diode and not the lense, but the end power is awesome. Was popping all colors of balloons all day, and normally can only do the dark colored ones. Well..as is the case when I jump into something like this... my camera is apparently not capable of...

FS: Large Maglite Monster Kits! FlexModP3, Side Button Forward Clicky!

Liar ! Jay says it only takes 5 mins to construct the Maglite Monster 'Hot' kit. Let me just say it took me well over 12 mins. But to be fair 5 mins was looking for an appropriate sized shrink wrap in my piles of RC stuff. Hats off to Jay for this kit ! I will also take this opportunity to...

Hit in eye with 1000mw 445nm blue laser

Nothing appropriate to say, this is just about the worst scenario I've heard of. Can nothing be done to reduce the impact ?, patch to reduce light ?

Illegal? Multiple laser pointer bundled weapon

I don't know what all the poop is about. The guy is contemplating using a non-lethal device to defend himself. There are plenty of physical and chemical agents that have potential long term damage. One that comes to mind is tasers, which have been studied to death, literally. I would...

Hit in eye with 1000mw 445nm blue laser

Or perhaps a Multioptimal Pupiloptomy - a delicate corneal inversion to correct Walleye vision. In order to not damage the eye socket, they have to come in through the rectum. Ain't no man takin that route with me ! ...couldnt resist the hot shots reference.

    5mW Red - Inexpensive - 100mW

yeah, but my current glasses are for 405nm to 532nm which oddly enough match the lasers I have.....until now my reds were all 5wM. I dont plan to do anything with the red so not really worth buying a pair just to cover that wavelength. But good suggestion none the less.
