Okay I bought it from this site DealExtreme: $8.81 20mW 532nm Green Laser Module (3V 11.9mm) there is not much info on the laser module itself the voltage requirement is just 3V some said if I go over that I will damage the module. i hope this is usefull.

Hi there, I recently bought an 20mW green laser module. My problem is how do I power this thing I know it uses batteries but which one? the specifications are: 20mW 532nm 250mA And one last thing ho do I connect the power source. my first time trying this out. thanks.
