Looking for a durable laser, maybe even a home made professional built one. Have purchased them before, but over time they get beat up and do not work as good.

What do they do, make 5 Alpha meters and that's it? The website says the Alpha is now $124. What was added to have the price increase %25?

Too bad lasers don't really appreciate in price when time passes. I would never expect to get anywhere near the purchase price if a couple years went by.

Their "cost" prices are horrible. I still see mid power lasers on their site for $294. I just wouldn't trust them now. If you do order from them keep in mind it may be real hard to return a laser to them. I've had nothing but bad experience with these Chinese anything you can buy websites.

Am I the only one that saw this comment? "All Lasers that are over 5wm will be sold at cost price" How can we tell what the cost price is?

I would like to see a metal PEZ dispencer converted into a laser.

What does the warning label say about the power rating? I own that same laser and it seems to be built like a tank. The green beam is very thin and bright. One thing I do not like about it is the light around the button when it is turned on. I don't really need extra lights, specially in the dark.

Re: FS: Laser Power Meter max. 5 watt For those that know meters, is this a good meter? The data sheet also says the min power is 200mW. Does that mean it won't read lower power lasers like 50mW or 10mW?

The most expensive has nothing to do with the most/best quality. It is a bad process always thinking the most expensive is the best.
