Yep. i thought it should at least give off a glow too. but nothing. i tried powering the diode directly to verify no light. Also.... Can this lens be taken off the module without damage? i think i might see thread?? i need another needle nose to try and loosen

Yes it was a success! i dont know what happened earlier on. It burns like a champ now. i have a quick pic from my phone added. ANd... yes i do obey the cycle. i never have it on for that long anyway. Your laser is in good hands over here. thanks again WretchedMerc.

Since it being your laser... I believe you. But i had it on electrical tape for almost a minute after showing it off for a bit and still didnt burn my hand either. i have two different batteries as well and both are charged. but ill try again later. My girl is more fascinated at seeing it burn...
