Oh no no, my friends 5mw can't burn anything, I'm just saying that I like the fact 405nm's only have to be around 50-80mw + to burn. What I liked about my friend's was the color haha.

Thanks for the feedback, both of you. I have played around with my friends 5mw 405nm, and I really liked the color it gave off as well as the ability to do burning without having to be in the 100s of miliwatts, so that's mostly why I'm looking into violets. I'll definitely check out laserbtb...
