oh actually I worded the question wrong, what i really wanted to know was if I could somehow fit a new diode in it or something and run it at like 100mW+ or the equivaent of a burning laser

Does anybody know anything I can do to see if I can get this laser working, I tried putting a spring in the back, some foil in it, I soldered a new switch into it, All to no avail. Im thinking fried crystals, but I have NO Idea... Does anybody know if they'd be willing to repair it or something...

I didn't know the problem, and thought it was my switch, I'm an amateur 'sodderer' so i spent 2 hours changing the switch, just to find out it wasn't the switch =( Additionally, I've tried putting aluminum foil in it before, and the battery cap wouldn't screw all the way, but I'll try it again...
