Ok so strong laser and sensitive reflector/sensor? Anyone have a product to suggest to look at for starters??? And when you say strong laser you mean as in green or blue?

Im not sure about all the fun involved with Divergence, but yea the angle would be 90 degrees and the liquid would not be completely still, although atmospheric so not mush movement there. I would love to use Infrared, sonar, or radar, but from what I understand you cant focus them into a beam...

Ok, like I said, im new to this whole thing. From what I understand different lasers are used differently. I need to shoot a beam at a liquid and have it return back to measure the distance. I dont care if its seen or not.

I cant find it. So, sorry to everyone, I thought these were different rooms and all 3 would not be seen by the same group of people. Wont happen again. However, the question still stands, I need to bounce a laser off water with enough reflection to get a reading. Any ideas?
