after damaging a diode with loose connections i decided to give it a good send off with full power, or about 600ma, from my bench psu. it had already stopped lasing from the loose connections so i had nothing to lose. as it over heated from this extreme current, it glowed violet then it started...

ive looked at the meredith website, it seems their glass and plastic lenses both have ar coatings, but the mounting blocks they sell look really usefull

does anyone know which glass lenses dont have an ar coating, or any that have 405nm tuned coatings? does the plastic lense from axis have an ar coating ? can we salvage any optics from the sleds?
