The only other option other than an RGB laser would be a HeNe, but Im guessing thats gonna be as hard to find as an orange diode itself. and the ones i do find are ~630nm

I think i could get away with a rg laser instead of full rgb, that would save on dicromic mirrors, and it will be a lot easier to find eye safe diodes in my preferred eye safe range

im guessing if i want one of those, id have to find some type of discarded equipment, or sell a car. Im kinda wanting to go on a route with making a RGB laser, just so i could at least see what i want

I dont remember where i saw those orange diodes, might have been a misreading of 520 or something. Well hopefully some day. Still want work on getting a rainbow of 5mw or less lasers though.

I only like <5mw because there's no point in getting a laser of a specific color you want just for it to be blocked by laser goggles. I knew it wasn't going to be easy to find one, but I might be able to combine a red and green to get a color similar to what I want. Or I might just settle on a...

Yeah I know there aren't many orange, but I for some reason remember seeing a like 615 or something close to that in a diode, I might just have to wait for that one then, maybe a sky blue 10mw underdriven would be cool.

I know their not that common especially in the colors I want, but that's what makes it a challenge and I'm always up for a good challenge
