    Yeah, I read about that...which is rather frightening. Now I am just wondering where the issue with constant mode in high power could come from. I hope it is just the battery. Could it be the 'below 2.5v'-cutoff?

    Ok, thanks for the answer. Also, does the charger have an overcharging protection in place? I realise it turns green once the battery is charged, but do I have to watch out for that happening and remove the battery right away?
