twhite828 is a genius. any doubters can look into my 1.1W 445 with their remaining eye :P it wont turn on at all, but to get a closer look i might need to remove the diode and driver assembly from the host. i can dissemble it so the lens and focus is removed, but how would i get the driver out?

I was just wondering if this kind of optic has a name. Goggles are indeed best, but if I can get my hands on this kind of lens then that would be great too.
