thank you, i just wonder why i got those readings, as i belive those drivers are supposed to drive the laser diodes, although they didnt mention 3 mode behaviour though..
do you have any experience with this driver?

i have a IR 808nm diode i need to power.
i intend to drive it at 1,2A which this driver is supposed to do.
my issue is this:
i tested the output first with a single...
amazing one, what is duty you can get out of it?
would you point me for a driver you used, i am in need for similar one.. for the 1500mA max for the QSI QL80T4HD-Y 808nm 810nm Infrared 1W diode
than you
hi guys, i wonder for a while why do we we all have all those powerful lasers, but if we want low powered one we usualy build another one..
i decided to combine the two in one package by slide switch to vary the resistance of the shunt resistor.
high power drives 260mA to the diode which is...
are you trying to make helmet like that for using this "red therapy" ?
if so..
just buy some cheap ones like those..
they are 650nm.. trust me it does not matter.. anything from 638 - 808nm wil pretty much work the same.. all you need is laser light that is coherent.. even red leds work -...
hi guys i am in need for 532nm laser module that can be run for longer period of time. idealy i need just smalest possible module that i can place in heatsink of mine with apropriate airflow in mind.
i wonder if you can recommen me some??
there is a lot on ebay and ali, but i doubt those...
Hi guys, i just want to share my latest build that is not your usual one.
I have access to lot of tools as my father have them all, but one thing i am missing is lathe. Ability to shave metal with lathe is what i miss to make builds like yours from scratch. Especialy heatsinks, and be able to...
thank you for extensive reply, thing is i used 18650 battery fully charged.. module will be copper without solid back.. plus aluminium block heatsink around 22 x 40 x 27mm..
as a dummy load i used our standard method, with using 1N4001 and 1ohm resistor.
this might be issue.. i used 5...
hi guys i am sure you are familiar with this driver, i would like to ask you if i need to change some resistor to get full 1.6watts out of it..??
as mine gives me 300-600mA on a dummy load, with potentiometer all the way left-right.. something isnt right..
The driver closeup:
oh..
i thought that that mosfet allow all the juice from the battery to go to the driver..
in that case, i found only some big dirvers 12-24v.. i would like to keep it compact, as all i need is like 5-10mw from a laser.
do you know some small size pwm driver that can be driven by single...
so thats why i put mosfet switch/ that that acts as gate switch from battery straight to driver.
i didnt metioned that, but it is on the picture i attached
hello guys
i just would like to know if it is viable option to use signal generator as a simple switch in front of actual laser driver.. see picture.
would it work fine, or is my thinking completely off.
all i need is 1- 30 hz. so slow blinking basicaly.
thank you
your laser will have driver board inside..
they used to have potentiometer, or shunt resistor..
measure voltage across shunt resistor divide it by resistor value and you get current going to the diode..
if you need to lover output of the diode replace the resistor with required value...
