Is there any consequence for importing >5mw to the us or will it just be confiscated?

I'm looking at possibly buying a 200mw red laser from rayfosslasers. This would be my first laser I've bought out of country and my question is how often do these things have import issues, and is there any legal consequence or is it just confiscated? Thanks
