I bought a 300mW 808nm diode long tima ago and im revisiting it. My question is: Its a 300mW output and its op. voltage is 2.2. So does that mean it uses 136mA input? I also bought some aixiz drivers because they were cheap and i didnt want to make anymore L317T drivers. I will be using these...

I built my L317t driver and i am currently waiting on my diode which is a 125mA input with 250mA output at 3v (using circut with 2x 14500's). That being said if i wanted to output 125mA at 3v it would be 3.0v/0.125A=24ohms resistance in my circut (5ohm resitors+ 100ohm pot)? im wondering if this...

I just got these 100 ohm trimmers today to start building more DIY LM317T drives but i'm a little confused on how to make them work as desired :thinking: could someone please help, thanks? where does the input to the trimmer go and which ones connect to eachother? heres a basic under sketch

so just substitute the LM317T with a L1117 regulator. Shouldn't there be a ghange in the resistors?

I know that TTL stands for Transistor-transistor logic (maybe) but alot of drivers have a TTL input on them. What does a TTL actually do? To my perspective it seems the the TTL input controls the laser to go on and off when power is input like to say if you were to hook up an MP3 player or...

I guess i used a 20% metal oxide paste meant for CPU's and i will fill those gaps once the paste i put on kind of gets less runny. But i bo have this big sucker for other purposes or scrap :whistle:

This is my first built heatsink for my 1.2w laser. Its a aluminium alloy thermal pasted on a copper heatsink alloy. After i already burned out 1 laser i'm assuming this should do the job. If not any concerns or further recommendations? :thanks:

It didn't go so well i kinda bought an 808nm diode on accident but both the driver & diodes come in 2 so thats good. Thank you. And yes i do.
