sorry to hear about that. ill check them out as soon as i posted this - i want to get an idea of what mines actually looks like. i think ill stick with the safe option for now and use the double googles.
that sounds soo cool. i think i wouldnt be alone in asking for some beamshots :). ive looked through this forum for beamshots in snow and fog and some of them look spectacular.
also a quick question - i noticed in one shot there was a picture of someone using no googles but shining a laser at...
well the problem is that to get rated googles you need to pay megabucks and have a long-ish wait as well, so i chose the b&s ones as they had been tested with a 200mw 405nm and were in this country. i figured the dot wouldnt be that much brighter with the b&s ones but it was more bright than i...
yeah i agree with that - mines does burn pretty well it just requires good focus in most cases for me. perhaps your laser is not 400mw or perhaps it has a problem?

well the best single pair of googles ive used are the barr & stroud ones. they cost me £11.50 inc. delivery. however i do use 2 pairs of googles for reduced dot intensity.
I notice theres plenty of threads about this amazing laser but i thought i would start a new thread to share my experiences with mines.
The videos have now been corrected and re-upped.

Hi new to the forums but i have to post a simple question - how are you guys seeing the beam without googles? imho, and im not trying to stir stuff up, but even a glimpse of the beam or the dot can damage your eyes forever. i use 2 pairs of googles (yes im that paranoid) and even then it is...
