This sounds a lot like the claimed 700mW I bought from Boblaser.com at about the same price. It peaks at a little over 500mW, but only for 30 seconds or so, then it drops steadily down to 300mW or less and won't go back anywhere near it's peak numbers until it's been left off long enough to cool...

The thing is, I've never seen anyone else advertise a pen sized green pointer with that kind of power output. Anyone else seen anything comparable?

A while back I bought the claimed 300mW red laser from them, and it was more like 180mW average, peaking momentarily at 200mW, and that's running off an 18650 3.7V. That's one reason I'm suspicious of their claims with the green.

At http://www.megalaseruk.com they have a pen sized green laser that is claimed to put out 300mW. The thing is, it runs on two AAA batteries. To me, this just doesn't sound right. Anyone have any insight? I was thinking maybe with two 10440's, but then that would probably just kill it.

A quick note on Wicked Lasers. I was similarly afflicted by their advertising. I came across them first, and bought a 125mW laser from them for $400! When I finally started doing some research, I realized how ridiculously over priced that was. Fortunately, it wasn't too late to return it, which...
