a question about the lazerer tiny 30mw green

i dont mind that the paint chips, as i was thinking about stripping the paint and plasti-dipping it. i have no use for a case either. i was thinking that if the 5mw version of this would run from a AAA it would be cheaper to make them both the same laser, then bin them and sell the better lasers...

a question about the lazerer tiny 30mw green

also, what did you think about the build of that laser? do you have any similar modules/pointers that you could test with an AAA.

a question about the lazerer tiny 30mw green

yes i have, i cannot justify spending that on a 5 mw laser, but if a 30mw laser doubles as a 5 mw laser in the same package, at 20 dollars(with battery) i could justify spending that

a question about the lazerer tiny 30mw green

will this pointer work with a AAA battery, and if so what would you estimate the power to be? i want to get one and if it would drop to <5-10 mw i would consider it safe enough for indoor pointing

    best 5-10mw green laser

i think i have decided on the lazerer 30mw tiny greenie.it uses a 10440 which isnt a problem for me, it's small and rather powerful. if i will be using it inside where reflections are possible i would either put in a AAA battery and see if it will power on or i will get here which should block...

How healthy are your batteries? (How to measure internal resistance)

i have some 18650 batteries i pulled from a useless(to me anyways) laptop battery that was pretty fresh and new, that i no-longer needed and got 76mw for the cell i tested, i figure thats pretty darn good and finally have some cells i trust in my 11 watt flashlight(kaidomain c8 xml-t6) can...

    best 5-10mw green laser

i like the idea of an american seller, i prefer to overpay to an american than anybody else, but i don't want anything over 10-15mw, i want something that wont require goggles, as diffused reflections could hit eyes, but it would be nothing direct. if the host is a standard cheapie green i am...

    best 5-10mw green laser

i want a low cost green laser for pointing, it only needs to be bright enough to be seen in a dark room or at night, which i assume to be around 5-10 mw. if it isn't please correct me and direct me to a good pointer for the cost. it would be nice if it used AA or AAA, but 18650 would be ok, as...

Open-Source Adjustable CC, CV Power Supply

i may be onboard for a group buy, depending on prices. i dont have much money for it . anyways, +1.

Is this a good 50mw green laser?

i have been looking about the same laser, looks good to me and i think ima get it if i was you i would get the glasses, i have had many close calls with my eyes, and dont want any more. at any time in the night a 50 mw is plenty to grab attention, i had a 10 mw greenie that lasted me all of 3...

    Attention retards

the most powerful laser i have had yet was a 10 mw greenie, but i think ima look into a 1W+ 445 to scare the living shit out of anybody who points one at me, i'll also get lots of new glasses for me and freinds.

Mutil watt 445nm using beam splitters?

my guess is that theoretically you could have lasers with the polarization changing in 20 degree increments, and combining them repeatedly with cubes.allowing for 68 or 9but you would need to reflect one and pass a large range of polarization angles, but everything works in theory. that would...

    Laser newbie, question about batteries

you can get decent 18650 cells from dealextreme, but i do not reccomend their lasers. their flashlights would make good hosts if you had a lathe to make heatsinks.

rayfoss, good or bad, looking at 30 mw green module

Yeah, sorry about that, I'm usually the grammar nazi Also i will only adjust the current a bit. it will have plenty of heatsinking. it should be fine i will keep an eye on the draw and never let it go over about 400 mA

    New Rayfoss Laser... Broken?

i am aware of that, we are looking at "does it work or not" , not how well
