I should mention, Using my air compressor (200PSI tank + air control = constant air stream at any power) did nothing. But just a cotton swab with nothing on it, down the hole, moved it a tad on the lenses, pointed it at a wall, was flawless, Only a dot. None of that grainy crap around it :)...

Ya for that reason i buy FDA approved lasers, No worries about that crap, locally a store in the US also.

Yeah I never built a laser before since I figured it costs a lot.  I dont want to be paying much over $100 for a laser.  So i figured home brewing diodes in a empty can would you know, cost a bit still yeah I made my choice. I'm sticking with the green one. If my brother let's me get one now...

Hey ArRay, Maybe your the right person to ask for this. Is a 100mw red laser good to use for a burning laser? If I ever wanted one id get the red because its cheaper, but next year. I wanted to get the green one for the beam this year, maybe the red for the burner next year. :D Good burner?

Yeah I'll get the 55. If I want a burning laser I'll get the 100mw red down the road next year. That way I pay less for a burner and my green for the beam. :)

Well I think i made a decision. I was debating a 55mw or a 75mw from skylasers. The 75, cant really burn much. Skylasers told me, that Indoors during the day, I will be able to see the beam as clear as my 5mw at night. aka faded. But at night, it will be VERY visible. Also to their site, a 55mw...

So what your saying is, Even tho they claim it's a 15mw green laser, with a visable beam in that enviroment (no smoke i guess) It's going to be higher... Because I want a FDA approved laser. I'm willing to spend 150 MAX for one. And I'm not sure what's the best FDA approved laser for that...
