the 980nm is a 500mw rated, seems like it is aluminum build housing i've ordered one just wanted to see what it looks like. not sure if they don't speak english or what but it's kinda hard to understand what they are trying to say...

this is a research build, i was given a low power 980nm 9mm in size laser diode and did some googling and some reading that's what i came a cross and the dude told me it was rated like 1 or 2W i didn't think it was true so i just wanna ask y'all also hat is the max power i want to put though...

I was wondering if anyone have used the AixiZ 9mm housing before? I can't seem to find any extra info about the rating of those lens. Seems like the lens is rated to handel up to 2W max power out put, but what is it rated for as far as wavelength goes?

I am also working on the red laser as well. it's just the diode is jammed in the housing.

a really stupid question...... what am i trying to measuring again? i measured the input power is 2.64 and out put is also 2.64v (batt is been used in a flash light for few weeks) or what does the testload do?

yeah bud, let me unsolder the damn diode off hehe how should i test that? just hook up a battery to it and measure it?
