Perfect response! It is a shame that complete units are illegal. However, It baffles me as modules aren't. I'd assume it is not very difficult to chuck one of these into a host and voila! Super illegal laser. This even makes a grey area for disassembling and shipping, as it would be in parts...

I've got a lot of those mini-LED torches laying around that take 3 AAAs, so I guess using these would be good. I'm looking for a min 4.5v driver then? I was going to order a 10 pack of Aixis blank modules for 5.6mm diodes and wanted something on the weaker side to go with them, preferably red...
