Damn this thing is sweet. Its my first laser too. What's really amazing is how bright the dot is. I looked through down under my goggles at my shirt 5 feet away from the surface it was on and it was being blasted by green light, I can't imagine how bright it would be without the goggles on...

Orange is the main power button like you said. The little gray button switches between power levels, which are indicated by the 3 leds.
