No more posts? Was it sold?

Poll: What do you want to see in a Power Meter?

I like the USB model (low cost and my computer will keep the data anyways). I like to see some focus (pun intended) on reporting software, maybe even include a library of reference data (products, glossery) perhaps interface with a website for reporting and updates. Be great to contribute to...

    dinodirect violet laser

Thanks for your note DAVIDDGD I've been looking online for some phosphorescent paper but it's difficult to find. I saw an art project once with phosphorescent paint and the artist created some impressive images with stencils. An interesting test video at...

    Blue ray Laser SF-AW210 DIY 405nm 170mA @ 140mW (Uncollimated)

Re: Blue ray Laser Kit from Ebay. SF-AW210 DIY 405nm 250mW (Uncollimated) WOW, nice review! I was also considering that kit as my first build project, but I think I'll go with a portable. I'd really like to pop baloons at my next meteor shower party. Can you recommend a good portable kit?

    Remember to Proofread

Off- topic...but worth it! How about this one I just made up, kinda fits everyone here: A service site for Latinos...or "La Service" (laservice.com) OK, OK...but I made myself laugh! Actually is a site for finding attorneys (or moving laser targets)

What exactly do you use <300mW laser pointers for?

I totally agree...I collect meteorites, astronaut autographs, antique telecom equipment, bicycles, brass bladed fans and dust. I'm also into art using light and motion. Somehow they are all related...but lasers will fit right in. I have 2 now and 3 on order. Cant wait to get my...

    dinodirect violet laser

I think this laser is related to the one in this post: http://laserpointerforums.com/f41/does-anyone-know-if-dino-direct-any-good-44424.html So i just received one of these yesterday, at least I assume it's the same one. It's hard to tell since dinodirect calls this blue, the wavelength is...

    Ebay BR pens

That same seller also has green lasers for sale too. Has anyone bought/tested them? I wonder if they are over-spec too? That would be cool for my multi-laser art project....now I just need some over-spec reds and yellows!! Any ideas? Cheers, Jethro

    Ebay BR pens

I like that! I always wondered how one can tell if a unit might be high performance...just luck? Can you tell from a pic somehow?

Have you ever been to space ?

Sure did, but it's great to see the 1W pics. As a kid I collected the autographs of every man that walked on the moon. Collected many items that have been to space. Patches, coins, flags, micro-gravity spheres. If I ever won the Powerball I'd vacation on the space station...and do the first...

    O-Like + US Customs = ???

Yes, thanks. I've been enlightened since my original post. I never thought O-Like was going to stop Customs, just make the customer aware that is might be seized. I see it's on me, it always pays to be a knowledgeable buyer when dealing overseas. Buying a laser is just a interim step until...

    O-Like + US Customs = ???

Thanks guys! I didn't seem to have issues placing an order, but nothing has arrived. It's not like something pops up and says "we dont ship to the US" I guess some suppliers might not care if your order gets snagged because they already sold it, but most folks seem to want happy customers...
