Mine have often lasted over a week, although they do begin to substantially dim after 3 or 4 days. My longest one was about 2.5 weeks ( 3000 MCD, 5mm UV LED, 2.8V-4 V running on one CR2032) Not that it should matter, but it was stuck to a cold water pipe about 30 feet up in my school's gymnasium.

heh sorry about that PM, I didn't know you had them cheaper, but I was idly perusing e-bay and thought of the throwies. If i wanted just magnets could I order some of those too? this is of course in addition to the actual throwies, but if I could buy 200 more magnets I would be very happy...

I don't believe this! I speak to people who have done this thing with me before and they are excited about buying them until I ask if they actually will. I regret to say I can't find anyone I know to buy these... which is weird because they are so fun!

ok I won't need any longer than it takes to get us to 1000... but I would like only a total of 100 as of right now (I talked to the people and at the time they were just flapping their lips, they wouldn't pay me...) so not that extra 50 i asked for...

i've been pestering my friends who have played with these before: put me down for another 50, i got some people to buy. around when do you think you will stop taking orders? because i might be able to get more people.

OK, i swear I'm not being paid by brunetto or anything :P but as long as the order is over 12 for each design, you can basically mix and match what side is where on what/ etc/etc/etc. As long as the designs for front/back stay the same, you can mix and match per request, i.e. 6 with both, 6...

Okay, I actually have a few of those magnets lying around still, I used slightly smaller magnets that were slightly thicker, and those worked wonderfully, these would probably work better! So put me down for 100 assorted colors (i.e. 2 "units", i don't want to be buying 50,000 throwies O.o)...

i'd much rather have a hoodie than a t-shirt!

sorry if this was posted somewhere else: what size neodynium magnet? i've made a lot of these before, and have found that smaller magnets make them bounce off and not stick unless thrown very lightly. if i like what i see, i'm in for 100!

i love xkcd hawks, i thought of that too! not to force the point, but just on a side note, brunetto t-shirts, the place i suggested earlier if this doesn't work out, makes the shirts for xkcd.
