Woop more people replying :) Murudai... you know your RPL-300 ::) haha. I looked at the herc and I thought the RPL looked better bang for the buck really, I know there was a review around here somewhere with the RPL-300 and the Herc 400 but I couldnt find it :'(

DX is good, but it depends what you want it for as well. From what Ive heard you wana watch out for the higher powered greenies, cause some of that output power is IR. Where in the UK? :D Also, what mods are you going to be doing? Changing diodes, "pot mod" or what?

I was thinking of going for the 225... but then its like, well for like £50 more I can get an extra 25mW... and then again and again ;D Yeahh, I dont want to part with half my stuff, and the other half I already have ;D I just want an RPL much more than all my crap, hahaha. Ill be a lonely old...

Ive decided Im guna sell anything I can to buy a green RPL (curses to this hobby >.<) Was just wondering what some of the power outputs needed for specific things are. ie, how much green do you need to see the beam as clear as a 50mW at night during the day in direct sunlight? whats the best to...

not sure if itll fit, should do, but it will most definately help burning. I took the lens off my 5mW green module, and used it in front of my true 30mW... I was able to etch my desk and light a match at point blank (literally point blank... I burnt my thumb multiple times)

Re: dilda  DX 200  burning power doesnt sound right, I focus mine (without safety glasses, dont flame me) and can light a match from 12 - 15 feet in 5 - 10 seconds :-? RMA?

I took some line generating stuff out of my dad's broken LCD screen, woop :D Do all line generators go like . . . . . . . . . . . with lots of dots or do some actually have a line like _____________ that?

i reckon the test is a good idea, and although it doesnt take away the lasers from people who have them already, itll prevent more of them from falling into the hands of careless individuals. We should set up a petition for like, a test to get a license or something. I would but I dont know how...

im not really running and hiding, but when you can change somehting which someone is pissed off about then theres not really any point in keeping it there. its easier just to take it down to stop anyone else flaming etc etc.
