I've clean it and try doing the circuit outside the pen's body, doesn't help :undecided:
Actually Akaline is the first battery I tried. The laser started to dim when its voltage is 1.52 - about a minute or so after constant emission

I've a problem with my green laser pen - the laser dims rapidly after I turned it on.
Here's some info:
-The laser works perfectly for only few minutes before the symptom occur
-I've tried new and high quality NiMH but it dosn't help - the life is still short
-There's no sign of dim red light or...
Will those NiMH batteries works? For the laser, 2.8V is the trigger voltage and 3.2V is the working voltage. 2 NiMH batteries provide only 2.4V, making me uncertain.
I recently brought a 200mW green laser and it require two AAA alkaline batteries. My problem is the laser drains the batteries WAY TOO FAST! After about a minute of constant emission, the voltage deceased from 1.58 to about 1.51. After about two minute, my laser starts to lose its output power...
