Okay just to finalize things: 2 li-ion batteries will bring it to its maximum output? (for the driver i'm using)
If i purchase the O-like Driver would it perform at its maximum output with just one 18650 Li-ion Battery?
Sure do have a heat sink, would applying thermal paste be necessary?

I used the first driver, which was the '18V 5W Cree Circuit Board for Flashlights' Driver.
I don't have the O-like Driver and i know it would require only one 18650 Battery.

mmmm okay, well i've learnt something at least, but i'm planning on buying another one and this time just connecting it up to the driver without testing with 2 AA batteries, so would that just work it fine?

Basically i have a build.. 3.7v Battery 18650,
I used this laser module in my build..
Basically Connected the 2 wires + and - to the driver which was connected with the battery and switch.
That's what i was thinking also, are some laser modules like that? I'm not entirely sure about the one i purchased, but thank you all i hope it didn't fry
