K thanks to flaminpyro he showed me that I had to bridge a connection between two resistors. Now I tried this with mine and it still didn't do it. So I removed the solder and bridged it 4 more times. On the fifth time I removed one of the resistors along with the solder so I'm done with this...
Thank goodness it isn't just me with this problem then. K so I'll pm mr flaminpyro and ask for a replacement. Sorry to hear about you guys similar issues and hope we can figure this out. I was upset that maybe my diode was bad. sshould go with the xdrive instead and use 2 cells? don't know if...
So I finally got around to soldering my diode to the driver I bought from flaminpyro. But I'm only getting 575mw. Do I have to bridge solder connections something on the driver or something? Driver is the Xboost Super mini and diode is the 7875 462nm.
Look mate first of all, chinese lasers are always exaggerated in power. What you got is what everyone else gets. That is a fine laser in my opinion and is operating the way it should. I buy from aliexpress all the time and it's a good website for companies to sell their products. 405nm is not...
I've seen a few threads about that in my searches. I was thinking of buying something but I'm too nervous too now :o
By the by welcome elly. Are you old enough to handle that high of a power? Remember that these aren't like those little keychain lasers. You're basically going to be handling a...
whoa whoa don't throw it out! You can still use the laser host and driver. Heck with enough work you could realign the crystal assembly and fix your laser! Even if not you can replace the laser module with your own build but for goodness sake don't just throw the whole thing away. Give it to...
I wouldn't fear these batteries. Sure they can explode like that but not often enough to invalidate them. I think we should think more about how much they do for us rather than take away. With great power comes great responsibility as spiderman says.
