Here's an odd thing. Playing around with my True 30 DX (still going strong after a month and a balloon popper) I found that if I shine it at a red polythene bucket the spot on the inside of the bucket is red ! Same with orange polythene. If I shine it through a red glass the beam passes through...

Green lasers of all powers are still being sold on Ebay's UK site - both from within UK and from Hong Kong!!

Update - it pops prepped balloons almost instantly from a few inches! Are they sure this is only >30mW ???

I've been following this post for a while now as I waited for my True DX 30 to arrive. I'd convinced myself that I'd a 50% chance of getting a pile of crap - the button would give up or that it would dim to nothing after a couple of minutes. Well it turned up today and I'm really impressed...

Thanks to this great forum I'm waiting for my DX True 30 to arrive. I'm not expecting it to arrive anytime soon or to last too long, but figured that It might tell me how fun this hobby is so I can justify a Nova! But I stumbled across Kaidomain which seems to be a DX clone. Does anybody here...
