    SOLD: Stock Arctic G1

SOLD Ordered this I think 2 days after the laser was announced. It works great. Comes with everything, however with no charger and an AW2200 cell instead of the original cell.

    SOLD PGL-III-C 532nm 300mW Safeties Removed

Letting this go kind of cheap because I need the money quick. This CNI PGL-III-C uses an 18650 battery. One battery from the manufacturer is included. No charger. Safeties have been removed. Tail safety is shorted to "on". Side key has been inserted, glued in place, and filed flush with the...

    Is your arctic still functioning?

I guess I lucked out. Mine still works perfectly. I ordered on 6/11 and it arrived on 8/18. I've only run about 4 AW2600 cycles through. I also removed the lens protector glass before ever turning it on.

    Cleanest lens for Arctic?

Are there any aftermarket replacement lens modules available for this laser that clean up the beam or reduce the side spill? Perhaps better focus?

    Arctic Spyder 3 beam twist?

Pretty weird. Must be the focusing lens. Regarding the focusing lens, does anybody make a superior lens that drops into the Arctic? Looks like the Aixiz module is threaded for and sized correctly. Preferably it would sit closer to the diode so that the initial beam diameter is smaller. Also...

I have done it, I have the power!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but lasers are simply an energy transporting mechanism. In order to produce just 4.3W from 24x1W lasers you'd have to generate 19.7W of waste heat. That excess energy has to go somewhere, and it definitely isn't being used to heat up the focusing lens, which is the only...

    Wicked Lasers Arctic Dissected

Mine is working fine. I'm using the training head with the lens removed. The whole thing gets pretty warm after a while so I figure that it's doing a decent job at pulling heat away from the diode. My only gripes are a bit of side-splash on the beam and that the lens can't be set closer to the...

Spyder III Pro Arctic - Questions Answered

Is the threading on the Arctic lens module the same as that of the Aixiz modules? It looks the same. Are there any other lenses available that allow the transfer of more light or reduce side-splash? Perhaps a lens that sits closer to the diode so the output diameter is smaller?

Attention: Positive conductor nipple on Arctic can damage certain 18650's

Nevermind, the AW's in question still work. Somehow I got a 0V reading on my multimeter earlier.

Attention: Positive conductor nipple on Arctic can damage certain 18650's

I just destroyed an AW2600 while using the Arctic. You could hear something rattling around inside the cell when you shake it. Turns out that the AW2600 is 67mm long instead of 65mm long. When the tailcap is screwed all the way on, the positive nipple dents the end of the cell. The cell worked...

    Wicked Lasers Arctic Dissected

I did just, however, refocus the arctic lens for cutting and set a piece of paper on fire. Yay. The glasses suck too. My unfashionable cheapo red goggles almost completely block out this and 532nm.
