Well, looks like you got a bad one :(. Most of NOVAlasers, lasers are good. Yea, send it back if you like. But if you think you can fix it then you should, but be carful. As for the scratches, a bit of a mystery.

Laws really should be easier to find :-? I think that in a retail shop like wollworths or a hardwere store, you can not sell a laser over 1mW. Whether or not they could sell a 1mW laser to like a 10-year-old or something, is up to the shop-keeper. That is the genrel law I think. Oh yea, and...

I orderd my alpha 105mW on the 15th of december 2008. Recived on the 20th. I orderd air shipping tho, as I live in the UK.

There are alot of kids and teens who can controll impulsess. Lasers should only be used by people who know and understand the dangers. And WILL use them properly. Then it dosent matter about the age. Aswell as lasers being great, if you use them irrisboebly, then they become a way of punsing...
