Thanks to all of you. I tried it at about 1/2 inch without the lens and was able to burn SOLO plastic cups. Works Great! Where can I get a meniscus lens along with other various lenses didn't see any more on NOVA's site?

Ok. I can get it to sting my hand without the lens, but I put the lens on and it doesn't do anything. Dumb way to do it I guess but easiest way.

Regular Energizer batteries. The light is brighter without the lens. The orb on the wall is at least 2x the diamater when the lens is put in. Is this normal?

Taken from 4 feet from the wall with collimating lens. Please tell me if the diameter should be smaller. My collimating lens has a chip on the side but doesnt seem that it would affect the lens at all. Also I noticed Nova is out of stock now on these lenses, maybe I got the last one lol.

It came with a collimating lens, which is what I thought i used to burn, but when i put on the lens and point it at a wall it looks like a star map 3 feet by 3 feet. It is suppose to do this? I...
