Checked it seems to work ok. I'm not an electrical expert but I thought I was following everything correctly. With this board I should be able to wire the diode into the board and connect the battery and it should light up right?
Yea I know. I soldered the wrong wire to the positive but did not hook it up to the battery that way so the polarity didn't change. I'm just not sure why this laser isn't lighting up. I can plug in the battery and get a .1v at the diode output with the battery is hooked up. Something seems to be...
I do not understand how to hook this up exactly. I know the - + at the top connect to laser diode but don't I need a negative input from the battery somewhere? I tried to using + but it didn't work? What am I doing wrong...
So I bought this and I have looked around the forums and have had no luck in figuring out what is - and what is + to hook the battery to. I know how wire the diode just not power input.
