Well, I got the laser today. It's the 200Mw focusable red. So it took about 20 days to get here. It came with 2 15270 batteries and a charger. I hope the batteries are just not charged up because the power isn't very impressive right out of the package. I'll give them a charge and see how well...

How long are people seeing for orders from O-Like to the US? I ordered a 200Mw red and it was shipped on Sept 10th and it hasn't arrived yet. I had ordered a 50Mw green in August and I got that in about 10 or 11 days.

I'd like to buy a prebuilt, or pretty much prebuilt, blu-ray burner from someone in the US so I don't have to worry about customs. If I have to do any work on it, I don't want to do any soldering. I can pay via Paypal.

There seem to be hundreds (if not more) of choices for the DIYer with respect to diodes, modules, drivers, hosts, heatsinks, etc! I'd like to build something myself, but I don't have the tools or experience to want to risk buying individual parts only to find I can't build it myself or end up...

The title pretty much says it all. I know importing whole lasers >5mW is illegal, but is it legal to import stronger laser modules?

Pigeons are not animals. They are a scourge that will damage your house if they are allowed to stay. Their crap is corrosive.

Has anyone tried using a laser to convince pigeons to stay away from the house? We've got a handful that have taken up residence here and I want to find an easy way to convince them to move somewhere else. What color and power laser would work best?
