I'm thoroughly disgusted with Radioshack's pricing lol. I go there for soldering irons and solder, and that's about it. I just like keeping the random parts in the hope that they will have a use, assuming they work :P You could run into some trouble if you're 100% sure that broken part is not...

It's rare to find something other than caps and resistors that I can actually use lol.

I haven't made an L1117 driver yet, but I plan on trying sometime soon. Anyway, I was taking apart a Direct TV box today, and discovered a single L1117 near the card slot. If you have a scrap box lying around, and you didn't want to pay shipping on one item, you may be in luck lol. Always good...

Hmmmm I got rid of all the supports and pads for the buttons though :P R2 fires it, so maybe L1 and L2 could do that, since they are still fully functional.I'll probably wait until I have another diode to play with before I mess with it too much :P
