Hello all, I haven't posted on this forum in years but due to my 1 watt spartan being stolen from me some time ago, I want to get back into the laser game and I was looking for someone with a cheap-ish 1w or similar laser. I know the Thor II lasers from eBay are decent as are some of the others...

thats garbage. These things aren't bad as long as people that use them are safe and responsible. And those 5% of people are the ones that ruin it for all of us.

Nice pictures. You're lucky you've got no scatter. Mine can get pretty bad up close.

sorry about that. i noticed that when i posted it but it seems to be ok now. @FlashFire i agree. ive heard stories about how things like that have happened. Its disgusting. And it probably wouldnt help that some cops consider these things illegal.

i think if you were running and you flashed someone so that the big blue flash obscures their vision long enough for you to turn or hide then you won. and if the beam is spread out by a special lens then the power would be significantly less and probably not bling them.

Yea, I guess that wouldn't work in court. What if you attached a lens that spread out the beam enough so that it will only tempororaly blind them. I know some law enforcement is using some LED things similar to that.

yes, as it is with any of these cheapies. but for 11 bucks, you can beat a visable beam.
