Definitly yes, the laser can light matches in no more than 4 sec. and also can burn black tape (i am really surpriced) ...obviously you have to adjust the focus,,,,(i don't know how much power is necessary for do this) but for 44$, it looks a good deal, if anyone wants a video, i can tray to... -

Hello, i bought this laser from DHGATE, it looks pretty nice, but I am sure that this laser is not 1Watt. But i Compared this with other green that i have (100mw) and the difference is a lot, plus i tried outside in a sunny day and i could see the point in some trees 100 feet away really... -
