do people really still use CSS? there are so many vulnerabilities open to script kiddies. microsoft recommends switching all private servers to CS:GO, their new silverlight based API

well here's another awful hastily taken picture.... The beam is perfect, it's just moving during the 2 second exposure. I'm a photography guy so when I get more than 5 minutes to set up properly I will get some REAL pictures on here

Thanks for the heads up Paul. The one I am using is supposed to be pretty high quality, whatever that's worth... but I will definitely give it a look with the scope!

I haven't decided what host to use yet. I'm sort of partial to maglites (I don't know why) but the lengths of them work out pretty poorly with 18650 increments. It seems like I always have to put at least half of a battery worth of spacer. I don't really like "tactical" looking stuff so a...

Is the thermal connection to the copper case pretty good? I'm going to have to make something on the lathe to fit it. If I keep the copper part under 55c do you think the junction will be in the safe zone still?

Well guys, here's the worlds worst beam picture of my PL TB450B running at 700mA. I have a whole boatload of these little RECOM 700mA LED drivers left over from a project. I'll try to find time to get a picture of it outside tonight. Thanks jnrpop, works great

Hey guys, new to the forum!

This was part of a board where I was experimenting with a push pull gate driver to switch a really big N channel MOSFET at 50KHz at varied PWM. I ended up just using an L6230 stepper driver. The scope screenshot was from an entirely different project where I was comparing my board's signal...

Alright everyone, time to come clean. Hope everyone enjoyed my shop humor! All the pics were just random funny stuff around the shop. I was just about rolling on the floor when I made that picture with the calipers. The eviction notice was just something off google images to see who was...

Hi Encap, Thanks for the welcome! I will try out the search tool for sure! Here is my new driver board prototype, this is my first time working with nanofiliment, I must say I'm impressed at how easily I can sublimate the components down to the terf board

Hi Alex, thanks for the welcome. Check out this clean up job I've got ahead of me! but when I get done it's a free host for the "492nm" diode. I definitely won't be using those 18650s from the hoverboards again.

Hi Paul, Thanks for the warm welcome. This is what I have on the bench today, chinese, but the reading seems accurate. With my background in physics I would have never believed that one could measure wavelength this way but for $8.99 on ebay I couldn't resist
