I was messing around with a 200mW green lab laser (somewhere around 200? maybe less) and found out that you can shine the laser beam close to a paintball, and if the room is dark somehow it creates patterns across a room. If someone is really interested in it I can post pictures of what it does...

well I wasn't aware that red has less burning power, but I got a 50mW green on the way too, my last laser was just green and I wanted something different. I might go for a blue one next.

nah, the brightness isnt that important to me. and i got a 50mw green from aixiz lasers coming as well.

Ah well yeah, I wanted the module not another pen laser. and the green would have been my first choice but the price looked a lot better for the red. Does the red lasers just not show up as good or something?

I'm looking to buy a DPSS laser with 300mW +. There so many small websites selling them I don't know which ones are good or bad. After I got my poor quality Dragonlaser for $200, Im looking for some advice on where to go from you laser experts.

Close to a year ago I bought me a $200 95mW Dragonlaser. I didnt use it much (maybe 10 hours). But hey, its a Dragonlaser that means of course it doesn't work right anymore... It still shines bright and has good burning power but when you shine it on a flat surface instead of a solid beam it...

coherent looked like a good place to me, there just very expensive if you want a new one.
